I am trained as an integrative therapist with my core approach being Person Centred Therapy. Dependent on your needs and how you like to learn, I will then introduce a number of techniques to help you. I use techniques which are drawn from a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), Transactional Analysis, Gestalt Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Schema Therapy.

At SYSHP, I counselled clients aged 16-25 who were transitioning from social services care to independent living on a range of issues including substance misuse, family, self harm and suicidal thoughts. At the CCSOW, I counselled clients aged 18 and over on a range of issues such as generalised anxiety and chronic depression.

I have since returned to Swansea in 2021 and I am currently working with private clients, as well as clients who have private medical insurance and thpse accessing counselling through Employee Assistance Schemes.

Since becoming a qualified Therapist I have continued to develop my specialist knowledge most recently undertaking training on working with neurodivergent clients, clients affected by trauma and working with adult children of narcissistic parents and clients whose partners present with these traits. I also have training in working with clients affected by grief.
